Olympus Pizza - Signature Drive Coming
April 24th we will be holding a Signature Drive in Allenstown NH at Olympus Pizza. I had the opportunity to go up and meet with Spiro, the owner of Olympus Pizza on Friday night. What an amazing person with some great staff! I love little gems like this...When I say that small businesses are the main source of income in our state, this is a great example. These small businesses are the businesses that need to be promoted in our state! Restaurants, stores, Dog Groomers/Trainers, Veterinary Clinics, Repair Shops, Martial Arts Studios, Gyms, and so many more! I wanted to hold my signature drive here in an effort to help promote them to my supporters. The more we support our Small Businesses here in New Hampshire, the more we support our economy and thus our state. Come by and visit, watch the Dart teams and get a bite to eat while you are there. I know I do when I visit there and not only is their service great, their food is delicious! You can find their Facebook page here. Stop in on the 24th of April and come talk to me. I would love to hear your stories so that I can take your issues with me to the State House! I know that two years is not a lot of time to fix all these issues, but you can't make a change unless you get started!
What happens when you sign a nomination form? When registered voters sign a nomination form for me, it does NOT mean they are pledging to vote for me. It means they agree I have the right to run for public office and allows my name to be on the November Ballot. Because I am running as an Independent I need 3000 signatures to get on the ballot. I know I'd need less if I joined a party but I want to represent YOU, the people of New Hampshire and not a party. Putting your name and address on a nomination form says you agree that I should be allowed to run.
Thank you to all of those who have already supported my right to campaign and to those who shared your stories with me. I know that it's hard to share your worries or issues with people and the fact that you cared enough about this state to share them with me means more to me then I can express.
