Fair and Unbiased News Coverage - REALLY???
Does your media outlet promise you "Fair and Unbiased" news coverage of the candidates for election? Do they tell you that they have all the news about the candidates in the state to help you make an "informed" decision?
According to one reporter I contacted this is NOT true. They will not be interviewing any of the independent candidates. They won't even think about IF they will until after the primaries. The primaries are a party function, they are run by the parties and the party rules, not by the constitutional voting guidelines.
New Hampshire requires candidates who are not part of the party to jump through many hoops to get on the ballot. While you will get to hear all about the Republican candidates and the Democrat candidates, you won't even know that there are others. Without interviews and conversation about them you will spend months knowing everything there is to know about the Republicans and the Democrats, but you may not even know about the others unless you dig for the information.
So if Independents need to get all of their signatures by the beginning of August, and the Primaries aren't until September - you may never get the chance to know about some very qualified individuals who you might have wanted to know more about!
THE ONLY WAY TO FIX THIS...is to sign a nomination form and send mail it back to me so I have the CHANCE to win your vote! Get your friends together and sign them together so you can put it all in one envelope! I do all the hard work of putting them all in the order needed by the Secretary of State's Office, all you have to do is fill in the form and mail it to me.
PLEASE click the Nomination Form button in the top menu bar today and get your nomination form in. If you want to meet with me, or talk to me, I am HAPPY to talk with you! I have met people over coffee, at a book signing event, at a restaurant, wherever is most comfortable for you. I want to win your vote, but first I need to get on the ballot to prove to you I am worth voting for.
